Half a million subscribers on YouTube
We are proud to share that our YouTube channel ‘Netherlands Bach Society’ (youtube.com/bach) has reached a whopping 500,000 subscribers!
Ten years ago, we started our ambitious project All of Bach, and six years ago we started sharing these musical treasures on YouTube. The All of Bach videos have since been viewed tens of millions of times and earned the channel many loyal fans worldwide. Thanks to their enthusiasm and love for Bach's music, the channel has grown into the largest baroque music channel on YouTube.
Reaching this milestone marks a festive end to the year in which we celebrated All of Bach's tenth anniversary. We did this with various activities, including the screening of the St Matthew Passion in 17 film theatres in the Netherlands, a Behind the scenes video, a treasure hunt and a live stream of the Christmas Oratorio on 13 December.
