Klavierbüchlein
by seven young keyboard players
In 2024, seven talented keyboardists aged between 10 and 18 delved into the harpsichord and made a recording of Bach's Klavierbüchlein for All of Bach.
Once every two or three years, in collaboration with specialised partners, the Netherlands Bach Society organises a talent development project for young, gifted musicians up to the age of 18. These projects revolve around the performance practice of Bach’s music.
The participants are coached by specialists from the Bach Society and sometimes by guest musicians. In several masterclasses, they work towards a concert and a recording for All of Bach. The projects aim to bring gifted youngsters into contact with historical performance practice and to give them deeper insight into Bach’s music. You can read more about the talent development projects below.
